During her sojourn at the Parkway Baptist Church, Deyon was active with the Youth and Young Adults. Her drive and initiative was clearly on display, particularly with the Young Adults where she breathed new life into that group. Her passion to be involved and to serve, led her to be a committed team member of the Summer Camp Program. She was also a spirited member of the Vacation Bible School Team. Deyon loves to express herself through liturgical dance and she motivated others to share in making presentations. The key to Deyon’s drive is her faith in God and her desire to live out that spirituality in an engaging manner, wherever the opportunity presents itself.
